Mr. Anirudh Damani serves as Board Member at Immensitas. He serves as Managing Partner and Director at Artha India Ventures. He also served as an Advisor at Venture Catalysts (Mumbai). He is a 4th generation entrepreneur. He serves as Board Member at LenDen Club. His entrepreneurial career began as the co-founder of a company that procured long-term energy contracts for power companies in the deregulated U.S.energy markets. His job responsibilities included: i. Recruiting, training, developing, nurturing & firing sales people ii. Developing & mentoring sales managers, area managers & regional managers iii. Developing & training his team on sales & marketing material He started investing in early-stage startups as an angel investor; with the intention of helping young founders with the knowledge, he had gained from sales, marketing & human resources. Leveraging his vast entrepreneurial knowledge, he was able to quickly identify disruptive products & services and teams capable of executing their plans. Some of the successful investments that he has personally made include Exotel, NowFloats, OYO Rooms, Tala, LendenClub, and CoutLoot. He also sits on the board of many startup & angel networks as his investment acumen, sales & marketing experience, team building & leadership quotient is eagerly sought by investors and founders. He is an active member of Indian Angel Network and a Board member of Venture Catalyst. Previously on various boards at Venture Nursery As a Managing Partner at AVF, his role is to identify, evaluate and negotiate investments in startups. Post investment he works with the founders to achieve the right product-market fit, develop effective sales and marketing strategies, help founders recruit key personnel and help them in setting up key processes that will enable them to build strong successful businesses. He is also the key point of contact for LP's in the fund and sits on the investment committee of AVF-I. He has completed his Double Major in Economics and Business Administration from Austin College, Texas, USA.
